Mischa Barton to accept plea deal in DUI case

Mischa Barton has decided to accept a plea deal in her DUI case to avoid any jail time.

Once the deal is made, a charge of marijuana possession on the 22-year-old actress will be dismissed, and another for driving with an invalid license will be reduced to an infraction.

A source said that the former O.C star will be put on unsupervised probation for three years, ordered to attend an alcohol-education course and be fined around 860 pounds.

That has always been the plan, but we dont know exactly how the deal will go down, The Daily Star quoted the source, as saying.
Barton is being represented by attorney Anthony Salemo who negotiated the terms of the plea deal.

"Mischa graces the cover of Evening Standard which features a brand new photo shoot and brand new interview. The photos are stunning and the editorial is probably one of the best reads for a Mischa fan that has ever come out.

The interview talks a lot about Mischa's charity work and her upcoming movies. The OC is also mentioned and I think now more than even its become really clear that Mischa wasn't given a chance to have any say in the direction Marissa was headed. Big thanks to Marie and Chiara for tracking this down!

BTW, Mischa also briefly talks about her hair colour for those people wondering why she still has it this blonde."
