IRISH people are being urged by actress Mischa Barton to drink ethically bottled water to pay for water pumps in Africa.

All of the profits from One Water will fund unique PlayPump water systems that will provide clean and safe drinking water for villages and schools across Africa.

The scheme is being supported by The OC’s Mischa Barton and ‘Waking The Dead’ actress Claire Goose who are calling on Irish bottled water consumers to ‘Switch For Africa’.

“If half the people in Ireland switched to buying a bottle of One water on World Water Day - 27 PlayPumps could be funded, providing almost 68,000 with access to clean water,” said Mischa.

Duncan Goose, founder and managing director of Global Ethics and One, said the company’s main aim is to educate Irish consumers to think about their brand allegiance and make the ‘Switch’ to One.
